Advance care planning course now available online from CDC

CDC’s Healthy Aging Program is pleased to announce a new, online course titled, Advance Care Planning: An Introduction for Public Health and Aging Services Professionals. The overall goal of the course is to equip professionals in the public health and aging services networks with the information and resources they need to assist their clients in better understanding issues related to advance care planning and the availability of tools (e.g., advance directives) useful in documenting their care wishes and preferences. The course was developed by CDC in collaboration with Myra Christopher, President and CEO of the Center for Practical Bioethics and the Directors of Health Promotion and Education.
